Notes & Combos
Testing a Sanctifire lock build with Verte in SPYRAL is something I've been excited to try in MD from the moment I pulled the card in CYAC. I'll preface by saying this payoff is not as good as I'd hoped and that I don't recommend this build. While it's a fun build to play if you need to up your fusion summons for the proficiency test, there's more cons than pros despite the different alternate payoffs and boards I've tried to play alongside it. Something I eventually did settle on was choosing to keep Baronne as my primary omni negate.
I tested this season with a Danger engine, but if you choose to instead lean heavily into an auxillary Kashtira engine, Baronne is a must simply because of how easily it is to get into with minimal summons before you even commit to combo. Baronne also gives you a free pop on your turn to clear Verte and give you the space to summon Jowgen on your side of the field for a special summon lock, AND can out Jowgen from your field if you end up in a grindier game where special summoning on the 3rd turn is needed. However, you can take out Baronne and Accel Synchro Stardust Dragon to swap it in for Borreload Savage + Selene if you so choose. Doing the latter gives you the chance to Jowgen lock with just Selene if you draw BraFu or draw a garnet and skips having to use Verte.
Fortunately, this build doesn't run the risk of Curious milling parts of your combo. Your Don line will mill Jet, build AFD and search Village, and then either synchro summon Borreload Savage or in this case, Accel lv8. Lv8 Accel can then special O-lion a second time to build Baronne. It's a build to consider if Curious was hypothetically banned from MD tomorrow, but cutting Curious out of my ED is not something I'm fond of, especially because it's a great SPYRAL plan B a lot of the time -- especially going 2nd.
Typical endboard consists of: Master Plan and/or Jowgen + Secret Village lock, Baronne de Fleur, SPYRAL Sleeper, 1600-2400 Apollousa, Albion the Sanctifire Dragon with O-lion summoned on the opponent's side in DEF.

The YT demos were done when I was in the early stages of cooking this combo so apologies in advance if my sequencing could be better :p But hopefully gives you an idea.
