DIS PATER DIS PATER DIS PATER
So yeah, unsurprisingly, this deck is still very much around after receiving two semis and... literally nothing else.
I personally prefer playing Dlink very low-to-the-ground (well, low-to-the-ground by Dragon standards) meaning this list is built around making and endboard of usually Spheres + Masq + some number of Bystial cards.
Optimal is Spheres - Masq - Dis Pater - Savage - Beast/Regained/both, a board that isn't actually all that rare thanks to the insane duo of Chaos Ruler and Dis Pater being legal at the same time
We're not doing turn 1 Borrelend setups as I believe that requires too many materials which we could use for synchro summons instead :)
Speaking of which, I'm trying out 3 Tracer to maximise Access to that engine. It also serves as a Normal Summon to make up for the three in Black Metal that I cut for handtrap space.
Speaking of which, I honestly would play even more if I could find the space, handtraps are just really good at the moment at a point where Bystials just do not suffice against most decks. Alternatively, one could play either of the Triple Tactics cards but in a format with this many absolute arsehole board I'd prefer to just not let my opponent set up anything for me to break in the first place.
Of course, playing so few starters will result in some bricks, but what can you do, at least we're likely to be bricking on handtraps.
