Notes & Combos

  • Initially started out with an "updated" Version of the Regenesis deck I played in Season 45 / September 2025 and got "so-so" results. I even played around with Archfiends and Kashtira packages as well and it was just "ok". When I leaned more into the "Dogmatika" package is when I started getting better results. In my opinion Regenesis works the best when you play it as an "Anti-Meta" deck. Thus this is not an "easy" deck to play as you need to know the "Meta" decks "choke" points to get the most of your disruptions.

  • Nibiru The Primal Being/Lava Golem/Evenly Matched were my main board breakers to give me a fighting chance going second. Forbidden Droplet and The Fallen & The Virtuous were used to help dodge effects that target your cards activated on the field. Super Polymerization didn't come up often, but helped a lot in breaking boards when it did. I was surprised how many times I summoned The Dragon that Devours the Dogma during my climb.

  • Subspace Battle: This is a very particular tech choice that won me several duels during my climb. I mainly added Nibiru The Primal Being, Lava Golem, and Liberator Eto to the hand. If I noticed my opponent was running monsters with "Low Atk" (i.e. Sky Striker) then I would add a Bystial, Fydraulis Harmonia, or even a Regenesis monster depending the rest of my hand. Although I got great results during my climb, I can't recommend everyone playing this card as it is very deck dependent. Fun fact, Regenesis monsters are inherent summons, so you can still summon them after adding them to the hand using this card, but you can't activate their effects on the same turn. The same logic applies to Liberator Eto.

  • Between Subspace Battle and Lava Golem, this deck surprisingly does enough burn damage time to time to help get you in "OTK" range.

  • The extra deck is more of a toolbox and cards were adjusted depending on what I saw on the ladder.

  • You might notice some cards in the video that aren't on the submitted list. I was swapping in different tech options during my climb.
