Notes & Combos

This was really painful, mostly for budget reasons. To be clear, the deck in this form actually performed well, you'll still likely have hands that are nothing but handtraps going first with an optimised list, but the rate of that happening would be lower with a better list.

100% play 3 seventh tachyon and 2-3 copies of ascension if you can. Reason why I didn't is because I don't have them, never pulled them, and for reasons I'll talk about shortly. Ragnazero and delteros never came up (just put them there to fill space), Starliege didn't come up for me but you may find some mileage with it, and I havent had Utopia come up before, but when I played maliss a bit the Utopia did clean up my board neatly on second so it might be worth a try. Roach actually came up once vs swoswo but aside from that it's a maybe if you want interesting R4s to run (for cheap too). Gibrine came up once but it helped with doing more damage, might be worth a shot if you need to fill up your ED. 100% play a second duo drive for the ext send duo line to be Nib proof, I just don't have another one bc no UR dust :(

PSA - Fiendsmith Ryzeal just doesn't feel good, you can maybe make it work in tournaments but its too inconsistent, and the power level of the best decks means passing on Caesar + handtraps whenever you open only FS and hts is not enough. It felt inconsistent and since you can be nib proof by just changing your line to duo drive in pure Ryzeal, caesar as nib deterrent feels redundant.

Overall felt really nice, the pots are super cope don't play extrav but desires is fine, small world was really good in hands where I had only HTs and it, or when I'd really rather get ice and I can bridge away star (star is garbo when opening it) and I think 1-2 small world in addition to sevent tachyon and ascension is worth playing since engine count is still quite low. Any other rank 4 URs I wouldn't know how good they are since I don't have them. Deck is expensive asf but as soon as I started playing pure, games were way more fun and the grind is super refreshing.
