Notes & Combos

First season actually playing blind second Mikanko instead of a going first pile. It's... okay. I can't help but compare it to blind second Gem Knight which is much more resilient and consistent.

This version uses 3x engage which I expected to work well with hidden armory, droplet, and super poly. The extra draw power from ITV, engage, and slayer did make the deck feel pretty consistent in drawing both engine and board breakers. I don't think it really ended up being that much better than a normal Mikanko deck; any game where I could resolve engage multiple times was already basically won and it does make you weaker to droll.

I tested with book of eclipse for a while and it produced a lot of annoying board states where I broke the board but could not OTK after making Uzuhime so I decided to exclude it.

The matchup versus KT is not bad, they are relatively weak to board breakers and this deck plays many outs to rosewhip (which is getting banned soon so doesn't matter). Most losses will come from hand traps rather than the board.

Replays

I didn't save any replays for this deck... it doesn't really produce many interesting games. Most wins were just blowouts. I thought some of games vs RT were interesting (but forgot to save); I won against feather storm once or twice and I played around Shiina in other games by not activating Uzuhime.
