I put this deck together in about 10 minutes after hitting M3 and was taken back how well I was doing with "Pure" Ryu-Ge
I proceeded to go on an 8 game winstreak putting me very near M1 promotion and I was playing second due to bad cointoss winrates about 75% of my games in M3 - M2. Every hand was seeing interaction, a breaker or two Super Poly or F&V or Forbidden Crown with a starter so I really can't complain with how I was opening.
It's very resilient against common handtraps like Mulcharmy & Maxx C which is important. Subspace Battle is such a fantastic card for this decks consistency and board breaking potential being able to add Dogoran or Nibiru
In my last game I was able to add Amano Iwato off Subspace Battle which lets it stay on the field acting like a skill drain for both players field, hand and GY which of course is very oppressive.
Last minute I took out Axon Kicker since the VSK9 players stopped finding me, there were quite a bit of them in M3 but none in M2 and I added Elder Entity N'tss as a breaker option for Diviner
