We're SO back!

I actually started out this season with other decks because I was very pessimistic about going second into Maliss. Midway through masters the new support dropped and that deck became unstoppable...

Or so I thought! I went back to Striker after the new pack came out and I quickly realized: the new Maliss endboard is WAY easier to break!

Their new omni is on the board, which makes it way easier to interact with than Desavewurm! Their combo is now more consistent and more resilient to Lancea...but we don't care about that, they always reach their ideal endboard with this deck lol

The idea is to break their board, deep draw into Imperial Iron Wall, and then they literally have ZERO outs to it left.

If they didn't draw into basically exactly Droll, you have a REALLY good shot at beating them. Maliss players have gotten fat and happy, and are used to players insta-scooping when you resolve your first card, so a lot of them are actually quite bad at navigating a deck earnestly trying to break their end board.

The other meta decks are also loading up on handtraps to stop Maliss, so they are woe-fully under prepared to deal with a deck of all breakers. My win rate vs non-maliss decks was preposterous and I felt like I was only losing if I somehow bricked or they had Droll and I had no answer.

Card Explanation:

• Max Backrow Removal: Most dangerous thing to play into with this deck is a full backrow, so you REALLY want to see one of the 4 backrow sweepers
• Super Poly/Droplet: You draw a lot of hands with duplicate breakers you don't need, so these smooth those out and allow you to use them as discard fodder
• Dark Ruler: Non-Targeting full board negation is awesome in this format, and we are trying to win the grind game so not killing them that turn is totally fine
• Upstart: Obviously Droll is the boogie man, but playing into a FULL endboard + Droll is usually futile with or without upstart unless you have the perfect hand, so I believe it's worth the risk!!

Extra Deck

• Accesscode occasionally is a bad MFer vs Maliss
• You can play the Predaplant fusion that takes 3 darks instead of Almarduke, but I like being able to Super Poly off the Appo
• No room for SP, but I didn't really find myself needing the spot removal much

Striker best deck! Keep on fighting the good fight! Malware is meant to be removed!
