Notes & Combos

My goal is to summon Colossus and try to get advantage off the Bystials protecting my life points and triggering my ThunDras.

  • If I draw Solar and I don't get Maxx C'd, I try to summon Elf (through Cross-Sheep) to protect Colossus from targeting.
  • Sometimes I have enough gas to end on I:P and if they summon a Bystial on my turn it's a bit easier.
  • I'm usually ending on Regained over Beast, but when most of my interactions are on the field I prefer Beast as keeping Regained in deck gives a way to recover if i get Evenly Matched.

Bricking?? Idk, what is that? As long my hand isn't 5 ThunDras or Called by, there's no bricking, you just play next turn or the turn after, building boards is overrated.

This season was difficult to adapt, there were a lot of different decks, due to Tear getting hit, and then the pack came out. I tried different techs, Ghost Ogre, Book of Moon were decent vs Purrely but pretty bad vs Lab and only decent vs other decks, and I only drew book once vs Stun. Nibiru was ok, almost always live, but again not good vs Lab and that matchup is decided by having early advantage to compete with their custom card effects, so drawing 2-3 techs that aren't good makes it almsot impossible to beat them. Crow is good vs them and Purrely but very mid or dead vs everything else (Mathmech is already a free matchup most of the time).

I set on playing slightly more engine:

  • Chaos Space and the baby drags didn't felt great, and are terrible with Droll & the cuck Bird around.
  • 1 more NS on Aloof
  • 2 Allures, low odds to plus off of it and even a decent chance to dunk your hand.
  • One of each Kaiju, one it's searchable with TDF (tho it's almost impossible to search vs the matchup you want, Purrely, as they can attach it from your GY), but he is also a Thunder so it works with Aloof and you can get it back if you crash Aloof, Radian its an extra DARK.

No Beast, yes, didn't miss much, It's quite bricky and with Kaijus you already have decent removal options. Going 2nd they already respect the Lubellion, it's not like they know you don't play it.

Azalea performed pretty well, even without enough Spells in GY.

Accesscode was good to finish off games under Maxx c, with more engine you can be more aggressive.

3rd Titan makes Kash not even attempt to get rid of it. Which has it's downsizes but it's an wincon.

For post Arise this list shoud work pretty well, might try cut the Veiler for another Radian.

Replays

I always share replays in MD, most of the duels are either wierd hands, trick situations or cool interactions. Check my profile (817-429-458) I always try to add new replays.
