Notes & Combos
• Bystials have been cut out considerably since there's much less Tearlaments in the format, hence too many will brick.
• Nibiru was cut to 1. It's not that good right now (will become godlike once again when Kash becomes tier 0). 1 copy for Crossout is more than enough at the moment (You can also cut it out entirely for a 3rd Veiler, a 2nd Regained or a 3rd Lubellion. It's up to you).
• Veiler was added in place of Nibiru. I'd play 3 if I could but I don't wanna go over 45. It is an excellent handtrap in this format, especially with Purrely's presence as a dominating Tier 1.
• Tracer and Lubellion were both cut to 2 mainly due to Space. Lubellion could be run at 3; sometimes you lack the free Bystial extender when running 2. Tracer is fine at 2, you don't really need 3. You can also recycle them with Regained.
• Regained was cut to 1 due to Space, yet you could still play 2. The card is simply Ban-Worthy and sometimes you will mill it off Chaos Ruler.
• Called by and Crossout are now a MUST. With the fall of Tear, now you WILL lose to Maxx C (Gamma was also added, partly because of this -and because it is the greatest handtrap ever printed, naturally-).
• The Red-Eyes package is actually really good; helps with consistency and fits perfectly with the addition of Gamma (Driver for Meteor).
• You HAVE to play Gamma in D. Link. Even if it was limited, you would still have to play it. It's the best handtrap there is. Saves you from Maxx C, Droll, and Shifter, all handtraps that you 100% lose to and that are seeing a lot of play right now. Needless to say, it's also good against Low-Impact interactions such as Ash. Bait handtraps as much as you can with stuff like Chaos Space, Quick Launch or Seyfert sending itself as cost. If Gamma resolves, you will always win the Duel. You can use them to go for Chaos Ruler, or use Driver and Tracer to go for Baronne, or you can use Driver and an extender to go for Lambda, and in the EP when Gamma is banished you can use Lambda's Effect to fetch another copy of Gamma (at this point, if you have Regained up you can recycle the banished Gamma, creating an infinite loop -while Lambda is on the field-).
• Regarding Lambda, it is exceptionally good and no one expects it at all (You'll often surprise people that were saving Nibiru or Ash). If you have the resources for it, and you have an unused Gamma in your hand, you can always go for it before locking yourself with Tracer. It will win you Duels. It's that broken.
