Notes & Combos

Been wanting to play this deck for months and what better time than playing it during Spooktober. If you like the combo style of Snake-Eye then this deck is for you. Granted learning the combos does use up a lot of you time.

Many of you will probably notice why aren't you playing droll and lancea? I did but ranked was not kind on giving the correct hand traps. I would get droll when I needed lancea and vice versa so I decided to take them out and focus on protecting my maxx c and fuwalos hence the gamma. Super poly was also in early builds but the top decks right now can just play right through it so I wouldn't recommend it during this meta.

As for the deck I go more into it on my twitch vod but I do want to highlight the memento trap. MVP of the deck and I do realize it is a brick but being able to negate monster effects like apollousa and forcing your opponent monsters to attack your highest atk memento monster came in clutch multiple times as it protected my links from battle.

Finally, just wanted to mention the decks resilence to handtraps. Of course the common hand traps of maxx c and ash can ruin your day but lancea and droll doesn't really effect it depending on your hand. Fuwalos also does minumium damage as you can summon once from the extra deck and rely on the memento trap to help negate your opponents monsters.

Overall, happy I finally got to play memento even if the meta was not kind at times. Hopefully we get more support cause I remember most of these monsters from YuGiOh Forbidden Memories and despite that game having weird rulings it does give Konami a chance to revive classic monsters that would never see the time of day normally.

Latest Vod has the explanation of the deck

Starts at 3:34:30 ( I do apologize for the low voice as I wasn't feeling well so I was trying to minimize how loud I talked)

MD ID: 598-997-672

Do have two replays in case you rather see those. Granted these replays have older deck builds so do keep that in mind.

Replay 1 is another maxx c challenge while Replay 2 deals with Expurrely noir twice with 7+ materials.
