Notes & Combos

Post Banlist Build coming soon. Droplet beats a 6 mat Noir and has good spread into the rest of the format, which is why I am playing it. Grief is the goat.

Where did the PUNKS go?

In general, I have found the PUNK package underwhelming. Not enough room for TZV stings. Furthermore, the gap between E-tele and every other card in that engine is crazy. E-tele is one of your best draws, and every other card in the package is just not that good: super weak to removal and not very strong going second. I found that Grief as a simple extender reliably did what I needed it to do (push through an interrupt), and was one of my carries this climb alongside Accesscode. Also they stink into Maxx, Grief is still comparatively better because its quicker access to your Tears (your good cards under C)

Why Accesscode Package?

This package has been critical for creating lethal out of thin air with Lunalights. With decks like Purrely that are Maxx C merchants, going second you have no choice but to kill the opponent - also because of My Friend, if you kaiju Noir, you will still need to OTK. Deckout is simply not as feasable with no Agido or the PUNKS. It also helps break the Huli Mikanko lock without Zeusing the opponent. I think I summoned this card 80% of the time I went second.

In general, losing the 3rd fuser has led me to find that Tear struggles to put up damage for an OTK. A card like Accesscode, Zeroboros, or PEP + Destrudo is IMO, a top top tech in every Tear list moving forward.
