Notes & Combos

After a LONG time, my favourite deck finally got the long-awaited support! I didn't play much until the last day of the season when I very easily managed to go from M4 to M1!

You probably know how it works, so let's go over some choices:

  • Rucia: A semi-extender, not bad but definitely cuttable
  • Foolish Burial Goods: Usually to send Curse of Diabell, but it can also send Morrian for extra disruption, one time I had bricked and I sent wanted and drew into a combo piece so maybe also consider that option. You can cut it though
  • Juraishin: Can be a great end board piece, it also helps deal with cards like Macro
  • Guardian Chimera: Best card fr fr, also can be chain blocked if Diabellstar is used as material
  • St. Azamina - Moa Regina: Didn't summon them much tbh, but great to have nonetheless
  • Chorozo: Great tech card, usually to bridge Azamina into White Forest

Finally some tips I can give you

1: If your monster is negated, it can be un-negated provided you chain Morrian targeting that monster after activating its effect

2: 2 Liger Dancers? Get Diabellstar on field, activate Diabellze, opponent has to chain as afterwards your monsters are indestructible. After the Diabellze summon, do the song and dance and activate Vengeance, opponent has to chain again.. Then you can reverse-OTK with St. Azamina. That's the ideal scenario, it's much easier said than done though :(

3: As mentioned, people forget the "hidden" effect of Diabellze, don't forget it yourself

4: People also completely ignore the on field effect of Curse of Diabell, it came up just once but keep it in mind!

Good luck next season and good luck in the DC!
