Notes & Combos

I played Purrely to Master I this season, overall it was a smooth and enjoyable climb.

I was on Gamma in Diamond, but in Master there were more grave-based decks so I switched to Crow. It felt pretty reliable--I would recommend Crow if you are facing a lot of Tear/Purrely. My main issue with Gamma was that it was usually a dead draw off Sleepy Memory, and of course opening Driver felt terrible.

When playing Purrely, one of the most important things is to not overextend--I encountered multiple mirror matches where the opponent miscalculated their resources and ended up making Sylvan as a last resort--DO NOT LET THIS BE YOU.

Do not be afraid to summon in the draw phase if the opponent has monsters that only turn into disruption during the main phase (like I:P and Formula Synchron).

If you suspect the opponent is on Snake Eye, avoid drawing with Expurrely Noir in the standby phase to play around Kurikara--try to hold Noir's spins for Flamberge's grave effect or when the opponent is able to threaten Underworld Goddess.

Stray Purrely Street is completely broken--it protects your Purrelys, extends by attaching memories, and revives a Purrely if the opponent happens to out Noir. Prioritize getting Street on the field against Rescue-ACE as it turns off the majority of their disruption.

If you made Noir with Purrelyeap! it returns to the extra deck on the following turn. I found using Street to attach Delicious to Noir and crashing him to make Plump into a second Noir to be the best follow up play, but if you do not have other options making Zeus is also fine.

Remember to replace Azalea with S:P!

Lastly, the Purrely mate really boosted my performance--10/10 would recommend :D
