Notes & Combos

The meta this season has evolved into unhinged pseudo ftk endboard because people gave up on going 2nd. I was demoted from m2 straight down to m4-m5 3 times because of those cringe decks (orcust fs, wf aza fs gold sarc simorg, rt vivian handrip , gemknight fs tear, odion nat beast varudras, ...). The moment I escaped these decks, I immediately reached m1

• Upstart is totally optional. You can easily get 3 spells from any linkage/vision hand
• 3 Pot of desires are needed because this deck is bricky as ****. Desires/Vision baits Ash Blossom for your Engage to resolve.
• This deck's wincon is the card advantage. I won games when I banished all of my engage/widow. Any pot of d activation that doesn't banish all copies of widow is always considered a good banish
• I tried 3 talents and it was bricky. But the handrip effect is always game winning when you go 1st
• Running 0 role/2 lemnis/2 roze are all possible ratio. Personally I prefer to have 2 lemnis. Role is good fail safe when you're trying to linkage zero to summon kagari turn 1
• Exciton is particularly useful against dracotail. ns raye > zero > pop sting > exciton. Many dtail players are clueless about ss so there's a surprise value here. Even if they try to fymena/horn then you still have 5 cards in hand to play
• Don't ash chant/swen because it might be maliss. Vision is a sus card because it might be sky striker. Krosea is theoretically the main ash target (but if they threaten vortex first then you're cooked)
• If you can, having a set linkage is advised because there are decks that use droplet (sky striker, yummy, rt, ...). This will also help you against fiendsmith engraver trying to send your zero to gy
• Typhon and SP are cuttable since you are linkage locked almost every turn. But in a super simplified gamestate they can still be useful
• Use vision in draw phase not standby phase (droll).
• About some mu:
  • Some archetypes can't threaten your backrow so you should hold your widow/lemnis. For example: Mitsurugi, K9.
  • Against yummy just try to prevent them from having a link-1 on the board
  • Against rt, you can always block the mandate by chainlinking any quick effect to the mst. Shiina could be devastating
  • Fiendsmith is always a bait
  • In mirror match, use amatsu to pin down the zero and pop a backrow. Use your own widow/linkage to block their widow steal. Eagle can't protect Zero from Ash/Cbtg
  • Against odion, play in draw phase & dodge stuff with droplet/linkage
