Notes & Combos

I got inspired by Andy's decklist and decided to try and get to Master 1 with Isolde Heros. The main purpose of the deck is to use Isolde to get Neos in hand and Vyon on the field and combo into Flame Wingman without getting HERO locked which also gets you Stratos searches via Cross Sheep and easy access into Apollousa or end of combo Verte into DPE. Heroes are notorious for losing to Nibiru, but I had many games where the opponent kept the Nibiru and I summoned Apollousa before the activation.

Speedroids help you get to Isolde without wasting your normal summon, due to M-X-Saber Invoker into Solid Soldier. Also if you open Terrortop (for getting invoker and Solid into the field) + Blazeman (or Durendal, or Hero lives) you can use the Solid Soldier and Cross Sheep for reviving Stratos and Vyon for monster and Poly searches and then end your board with Apollousa, DPE, Dark Law (via Wake Up pop into Shadow Mist by DPE) and Favorite Contact.

Neo Space Connector is an amazing 1 card into Isolde and gets you hand knowledge via Aqua Dolphin, which you can reuse by her effect. Blazeman was MVP because he is searchable by Durendal and Almace and gets you Poly without having to dump something. Also I won my Master 1 rankup game by using his second effect to dump Shadow Mist and search, so that is quite handy sometimes. Faris is here for the special summon, also he helps unbrick some hands by discarding Mali or Shadow Mist and baits interruption. Cross Crusader is not used in the main combo, but he is needed in case your only starter is Fusion Destiny, so that you can still end on DPE + Plasma + Poly search via Vyon for next turn, and also is amazing late game. So is Wonder Driver, getting you back useful Fusion cards.
