I had to play 2 soul releases because there were too many crystron players and they regenerated too much so it was hard to win without hand traps. Last month someone asked me if this deck could beat Fiendsmith control?
This deck was designed to beat pure combo decks like Snake-eyes Fiendsmith but until Blue-eyes came out, it changed everything about deck building forcing me to drop all the important cards like Sky Striker Mecha Modules - Multirole and Roze to increase the cohesion of this deck to the highest level possible, it was hard to negate from Blue-eyes players because they had an antidestruction from Stardust Sifr Divine Dragon and even harder when Drillbeam came out.
At that time, the only card that changed the game for me was Book of Eclipse. Many of you still don't understand the benefits of this card. Not only does it help lure Ash, it also destroys the entire Blue-eyes player's strategy and more specifically it is a quick play.
But now Konami has released Crystron and now all the old strategies are destroyed. I still haven't figured out the best way to counter Crystron.
