Notes & Combos

I never changed a list so much throughout a climb. From late Diamond to Mid Master, i played against mostly Floow. Mid Master onwards, 50% were a Spright variant. Rest was a mix of Tear and mirror match. Occasional stun in between but literally nothing else.

Branded is in a weird situation rn. The old builds used to play into Maxx C so much better. With Bystials running rampant, now its a dilemma. I used Ido lock package at one point, but it gets interrupted too easy. It feels like now we die to Ash and are scared of Maxx C.

For a while, i tried 3x Allure of Darkness. Honestly makes the deck and 2x Mercourier so much more fun, eats a surprising amount of Ash and negation.

Spright was the most challenging match up. The Melfy package added a new dimension to their resistence. Cant just Super poly and attack over anymore. When you break their board with just engine its a delight, but theyre tough. Thats why, for the last push to Master 1 i added the TTTx2 and the Ignister fusion.

I think Bystials are great overall, but i had to reduce the number because its mediocre against Spright.

Overall, super happy Branded is back in the MD mix. Cartesia makes the deck so fun. If only Quem was here as well.
