Notes & Combos

Could've made it to M1 earlier, but got tilted at going second like 18 times in a row so I took a break, but now we're here. I just went second a lot in general. Also the first list I've put out that isn't Ogdoadic, but you can tell that I've built Predaplant like I build Ogdo.

I liked the heavy engine I played, initially I played without Branded Fusion but had trouble going second because I didn't have enough pushes, so I either couldn't play through the board or lost to follow up becuase I couldn't kill. The Branded fusion helped with that a ton, and because of my greater fusion focus, I added Practice, which was really good, its basically just 3 more copies of Primitive and a way to get extra normal summons out of hand.

I didn't like any of the synchro stuff, so throughout my climb I cut all of it, I think it was the right call though I would probably add the Predaplant synchro back in when Fata Dragna releases.

Somethings I wasn't sure about:

• I thought of maybe playing a second Albaz, I would on occasion use branded fusion and then end up not shuffling Albaz back, which made follow up awkward sometimes.
• Ecclesia was the Light monster I ended up playing to summon Albion with Branded Fusion, all she ended up being useful for was for a free discard for Super Poly, making when I drew albaz slightly better and turning on the second effect of F&V, but the last 2 didn't come up much. I probably could've played a different monster but there wasn't one that stood out to me to play.
• Keeper of Dragon magic is in here only for Magnamut, which I wanted to be both starter and non-engine, if I wasn't on Mag I wouldn't be playing it as it ended up being a little awkward as a normal summon becuase it used the normal, so it doesn't work well with Lillizard and I'm unsure if Mag is the right choice for non-engine.

Overall the deck was pretty good, decent into boards, really good into KT, fine into Fuwa and just has a good enough turn 1 to win most games, turns out searching Super Poly is pretty good.
