Happy New Year! I think my Small World Legacy (SWL) build is pretty stable now. Not many changes from the list that I played in the Dec Duelist Cup (didn't upload here), so thankfully not much to say here for once.

Key changes:

• In case you missed it, the Duelist Cup basically turned stun and Runick stun into meta decks once again, so 1x Nibiru is out for 1x Ghost Belle. Belle is pretty good right now in quite a few matchups.
• Back to 3x Memory and 1x Succession. Imperm is a bit too prevalent now, so our poverty E-Tele is back at 3x. Less sustain, but duels are pretty much won on turn 1 these days anyway.
• Zeus is back because of Runick. Good option to have.
• Link Spider: Primarily to have a way to extend through Nib.
• -1 Morning Star and -1 I:P to make room.

Pretty straightforward. Looking forward to the banlist...

P.S. In the past few months, I have been testing various 60-card builds after hitting M1. Nowhere near ready to actually climb with a 60-card list, but just putting it out there now that SWL is pretty stable.

I'm interested in expanding to 60 cards because I feel the ceiling for my 40-card formulation can't be raised any further. There's just not enough gas in the deck, not enough options. With the upcoming banlist, it seems Komoney prefers to hit consistency rather than ceiling for the top decks, so we will probably continue to see increasingly greedy 1st-turn pseudo-FTK boards. In order to keep up, I will need to inject a fresh new engine, or perhaps take a different approach. Have not yet decided on direction.
