Yes I used Puppet, it probably isn't optimal but I took the Maxx C challenge a few times -- including on the last rank up game -- and won so it can be funny. It's a play that hurts the grind game so I didn't do it that often. However I do think being able to puppet lock under Branded Lost's protection is broken.
In terms of Extra Deck, I thought Chimera and Verte were super important. Verte is a great way to get out of a bricked hand or play through hand traps, while Chimera is great against Dinomorphia/stun, which I actually saw a decent amount of. I wish I had two Granguignol just so I could test it, but the Extra Deck is already so tight that it's probably not worth crafting.
