Notes & Combos

I did what I had to do to get to Master 1. It is legit a dark horse because of how the meta decks are. To answer some questions:

"No gold sarc?"

I was getting really sick of Blaster/Chick in my opening hand so I scrapped my old Tenpai build for Striker Tenpai.

"Is Lancea really worth it?"

No, but I absolutely loath Maliss. My thought process was that I can play through a Ryzeal board and their clapbacks aren't so bad, but Maliss... If you let them go uninterupted, you can't win. You'd need like double raigeki + feather duster to wipe the field. There was a little bit where I ran Chaos Hunter but they conflict with the Strikers and Lightning Storm.

"Is there anything you didn't use in the deck?"

Yeah, I didn't use Black Rose, S:P, and Striker Dragon. Odd Eyes, Kuibelt, Seals, and Dis Pater were very situational. If you want my honest opinion, run Super Poly or Ultimate Slayer. I would've but I'm frugal.

Also Dora Dora was kinda bad, run 3 Genrokus because you will see 1-2 in your opening hand and you will be upset that you can use it's special summon from hand.

"Any replays?"

Lmao no it's Tenpai. I wipe their field and otk, or I die. There is no inbetween. Any nuance on how to go about this should come with experience.

Closing Thoughts

Maliss has gotta take the axe man. They're so cringe like ong brooo look with I gotta do to draw cards while their goofy ahh goes, "UwU Allure of Darkness draw 2 summon Chessy Cat draw 2 more owo summon White Binder and banish it to draw 1 more Owo." Then they have the gall to Droll on your turn like PLEASEEEE.

Ahem, anyway be patient with the deck and with others. Most duels, I only had 1 shot to beat them because I built the deck to be like that. I once laughed at a guy who ran only 1 Fadra, but if you can't beat them the first time, the chance it would've worked the second time is low. There is no point in building the deck to support hypothetical grind game scenarios when this is an otk deck.
