Deck Description

This is my Stun Deck that carried me all the way to Master 1. The gameplan is simple but brutally effective: floodgates, hand traps, and traps that punish overextension. By slowing the game down to a crawl, this deck forces opponents into awkward positions where they can’t combo off freely, letting you chip away until they’re out of resources.

The core lineup is built around stun staples like Inspector Boarder, Fossil Dyna Pachycephalo, and a heavy trap lineup with things like Solemn Judgment, Solemn Strike, Skill Drain, and There Can Be Only One. On top of that, the deck runs powerful counter options such as Evenly Matched, Dogmatika Punishment, and Dimensional Barrier, which can singlehandedly end games depending on the matchup.

The Extra Deck doesn’t see too much play (as expected in stun builds), but it provides utility for Punishment targets and niche situations when you need to close games or break boards.

Why Play This Deck?

It preys on the current combo-heavy meta that relies on uninterrupted lines.

Most decks simply fold to floodgates + backrow.

It’s a consistent climber — it may not OTK, but it shuts down almost everything.

My Take on the Meta

Honestly, this meta is ***. It’s dominated by solitaire combo decks that don’t let you play unless you hard-open the right outs. That’s exactly why stun feels so satisfying right now — it punishes the broken strategies by flipping their "do-everything boards" into a brick wall.

If you’re tired of watching your opponent play for 10 minutes straight, pick up stun and make them suffer.
