Made to Master 1 in August 15th.

Because Konami needed more money to set up for the World Championship this year, they decided to drop another Meta deck on top of the one dropped the previous Season.

The Maliss enjoyers spent for theirs, so they needed to milk the other half... or even better, enjoyers of both Maliss and Ryzeal... the new Meta.

What is Ryzeal? It is the product of one of the designer for a new archetype who lost to a Spright player a little too much, but they liked Spright board spam, so they just copied their homework and gave them a real boss monster and made them Lv4 so they can have the FLOODGATES Xyz.

The climb was more chill than expected when I made the right choice of Staples switching.

2 Demotes this Season. Demoted twice from D4 to D5. No more afterward, but still was stuck for some days in M3... probably was because I just didn't want to play😴

Went from D4 to M5 in just one day. The day previous to Ryzeal release just so I could have my time to watch what is the deal with them in depth and adapt my gameplan vs them.

As much as I talk ill of Konami, they did the right move to Ban one of the Rank4 Xyz from this custom Deck forcefully allowing any Rank4 to be summoned.

This intro write up wouldn't be this mild had Dweller not got what it deserves 😇😇😇

• About my Deck:

Classic Zantos staples change to adapt to the Meta. This one might look small but this small was a huge leap into beating down these HUGE monsters spam.

Presenting the adition of the "I surrender card"... BUT NOT IN MY DECK... 🗣️🗣️🗣️MR. TY-PHON🔥🔥🔥.

I kid you not, I had like 1 or 2 loses the time I summoned 🗣️🗣️🗣️TY-PHON🔥🔥🔥. With this, my match up vs BEWD... and of course, the new Meta Ryzeal.

I switched x1 S:P for x1 🗣️🗣️🗣️TY-PHON🔥🔥🔥, and x2 Lancea for x2 Evenly Matched from last Season.

Emoji spam for you to realize how big of an impact this was in this new Meta. You will be able to see it in the replays when I post this Season's climb on Youtube, or you can watch the one that is in game (just 1 replay vs Ryzeal in game).

• About this Season's Meta:

When 1 dominating Deck is not enough, they drop another dominating Deck in less than a Season. I am talking money-wise... this just doesn't make sense game balance-wise.

Yes, they are selling the solution for the problem they made by selling another problem.

The closest thing to compare how good Ryzeal is is to compare to Spright. Basically the same thing, but... nah no buts... you know how it is 😞

I won't talk about what they do because you have already seen it plenty.

They have a weakness to boardbreakers because of their lack of negates. Baiting out their Field Spell or destroying it can allow you to control their field with Eldlich (you will see this a lot in the replays). But what about Starliege? If what you have allows, make a 🗣️🗣️🗣️TY-PHON🔥🔥🔥when it is all baited out. Then get rid of everything with 🗣️🗣️🗣️TY-PHON🔥🔥🔥 and Eldlich.

They have it great at gathering all their cards in 1 go, but lacks in recovery. Once their field are dealt, they can go for a second round... if you prevent or deal with their second round, then it's likely game over for them.

The solution is to put them in the grind game. Hand depending yeah, but that's how the game is 🫠 Same could be said for literally any Deck.

Despite all this Ryzeal talk, most of my games were against Maliss... like SOOOO MUCH that I have even considered putting back Lancea🫠
