Notes & Combos
So Kaiba can finally rest easy knowing that his ace monster can indeed be the strongest.
It took a while to fine-tune this deck for the Master ladder grind. It took some surprising turns, but overall happy with this build.
I didn't know what to fully expect with this deck, but genuinely satisfied with its performance. With the few breakers and HTs it has, it doesn't do too bad going second. Interruptions such as Drillbeam and Majesty are especially devastating to mirror matches and certain decks. Also being able to cycle and/or efficiently stock up on Effect Veiler in particular helps with its Turn 1 board. And TY-PHON is also not too bad in this deck, as given the right cards, we can give ourselves a backup plan against the big 3k omni negate bodies.
This is the first time I'm running a deck without Fuwalos and honestly, it somehow works. It is now replaced with Ogre and Triple Tactics Talents which are extremely good in this deck, to the point that I would actually make them a requirement. At least 2 for each. Purge is also especially good in this deck, but WARNING: if you draw both Ash and Purge, use Ash before Purge. Otherwise, you get locked out of Ash due to it being FIRE.
