Hello guys! It's my first introduction to the Master Duel Meta, as I played mostly casual, but after such big winstreaks in both events decided to share some thoughts about Artmage deck. It's fun and pretty consistent deck with many ways to avoid opponent's handtraps and play through it. Most of the time, opponents just surrendered, but with mostly opponents (Dracotail for example), you can do much more than you could expect. Anyway, I wanted to share some thoughts about my choices of some openings that you can play.
With Fusion Deployment, you can summon Medius or Cartesia in order of what you need. If you need starter, Medius is our young hero. Cartesia is great in order to disrupt or draw card by sending in the GY Garura or Malong. I play mostly Fusion monsters for Super Polymerization in order to summon something to disrupt and in emergency situations, we can go through Verte, since he can use Super Poly without discarding.
Either way, the only possible problem will be Droll & Lock, Nibiru and Purulia, since summoning from the hand is our top priority. But if you can summon monsters, prepare Artmage Trap on the field, you can go wild with opponent on the next turn. Summoning Power Patron to make into Nerva for example.
