Notes & Combos
Very miserable grind.
Initially I decided to play Galaxy-Photon, which got me up to level 18, achieved that in basically a few hours on the first day despite the load of maliss and ryzeal players running around, and then the deck started showing its downside, constantly opening non engine turn 1 or going second with no sort of interruptions. Some losses were just being turn skipped by fuwa/maxx c as the usual, but I had decided to just drop photon, as after about 20-25 minor decklist changes, switching between different combinations of engine/non-engine and deck size, I was getting nowhere.
So here we are with tachyon. The deck isn't much better than photon, given it doesn't have as many pushes in theory, but it is a lot more flexible with non engine, and doesn't suffer from the option restrictive archetypal/attribute locks as photon does.
The non engine is mostly just your usual picks to deal with the meta, in this case I stuffed in 3 talents given I'm expecting to be interacted with even if I go first anyway, and tachyon primal is able to force its activation if they don't or decide not to interact with you anyway; just remember that if you make this play turn 1 you should grab back the primal from your opponent's field via Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon's effect, or they're using your own primal to turn off your transmigratuon next turn. Grabbing it back this way also lets you extend your rank 8 plays, if you are able to summon a second primal via cloudragon or have galactic spiral dragon in rotation, which in turn also gets you another search with primal's effect, bypassing the HOPT clause on it.
I also initially played the RUM Seventh One package, but decided to drop it as there is only really any value in it going second and only if you open transmigration; I cut down from 3 to 2 to avoid bricking on it too often, letting the spiral of destruction quick play function as a possible third copy. The slots that initially went to C107 and 71 for the RUM package were replaced by S38 and 92, as niche utility options.
Your otk options in this deck are Numeron Dragon, and Tachyon Dragon itself. Numeron Dragon otk should be backed up by transmigrations, or the opponent having virtually 0 interruption. The better otk tool you have is 107, and is supplemented by tachyon primal and galaxy satellite dragon, attached via dragluxion's effect. If you are trying to otk I would recommend the latter, as Numeron is cheated out by 97 and is the only one able to attack.
