Notes & Combos

The duelist cup is back once again and this one is even worse then the last. With Called By banned, handtraps like Droll, Ash, etc. were all over the place with not many way to deal with them. Please Konami for the love of god you need to either limit or ban Droll specifically. Anyways, despite all the handtrap problems, I was still able to reach DLv. MAX.

I decided to take on this Duelist Cup with an interesting version of Galaxy-Tachyon that combines Galaxy-Tachyon with the Mitsurugi cards. This has quickly become one of my favorite builds for Galaxy-Tachyon as it puts our a lot of interations through all the different Mitsurugi searches. The interactions ranging from an omni with great purification, to a reborn with Futsu, to a one-sided Raigeki with Murakumo.

The best combo that I could find with this build was a two card combo with Schwarzchild and Pre Preparation of Rites. This allows you to put out our usual Tachyon end board pieces in the form of Tachyon Dragon and Hope Harbinger, with a Transmigration either set or held in the hand. Once all that is done, use Pre Prep to seach both Mitsurugi Mirror and Habakiri to get the Mitsurugi line started. The Mitsurugi cards allow for more interactions including the ones I mentioned before and more as well as extensions into Cipher and Cipher X to provide some targrting protection,
