Notes & Combos
Overview
This deck is very similar to my previous Master-rank list that specialized in being able to both go 1st and 2nd. Please follow this link to see more details on how the build works, as it goes into greater detail on my ethos behind this brew.
Some important notes here, though, are that I nixed a copy of Lightning Storm, as while certainly a potent board breaker, it never really was as useful as it could have been because it doesn't synergize well with the R-Ace hand traps provided they resolve. Dark Ruler No More is a much better going-2nd card because it doesn't have LS's stipulation of requiring no face-up cards to activate. Super Poly still does wonders here, and is the other top option to have going 2nd. I also got rid of Enemy Controller, as while it had its moments, it virtually did nothing going 1st, and the lack of a bo3 format prevents me from siding them out, so in order to take advantage of the Duelist Cup and ranked system, it's best to focus on sweeping cards that can more easily break boards and shift advantage (the addition of Change of Heart also facilitates this, and this is also why I sided out the synchro package, as it just clogged up my extra deck, and Jet Synchron wasn't ever the best to see in hand).
