Notes & Combos

Honey a new Buster Blader list just dropped (and it's me again)

First of all I would like to appologise, in my other lists I had it with a Red-Eyes tag by mistake (I didn't even know you could tag decks) but anyway it should be good now, this really is a Buster Blader list since most of it revolves around Buster Blader or at least it's the strongest aspect of this deck really. Now with that out of the way let's go through some main points.

Main Deck

I would just like to say that for some time I experimented with the new Dracotail cards that allows for some potential Magia or Dragoon plays turn 0 but honestly those cards get in the way most of the time as crazy as that may sound. This version is more objective and if you're to play the Dracotail cards you might as well play it pure imo.

  • Primite: The primite cards are really powerful as I've been using them since release, drillbeam is a very powerful spell and beryl is a dragon, beryl + prologue in hand is always nice to see
  • Bystials: They work surprisingly well, either for control or just sending lubellion to use prologue. Branded regained was nice, when you activate destruction sword memories you can draw one with it, most of my opponents seemed to always want to stop lubellion or get rid of branded regained
  • Small World is amazing to search for the cards you need, it just makes this deck a lot better
  • Magicians' Souls/IOC: Very underrated cards for getting rid of bricks or just more draw power
  • Two Buster Blader: Solved a big issue when drawing "the brick" I can honestly say I saw both in hand twice in like 100 matches
  • As for handtraps it's whatever, this deck wants to go first anyway but I feel like ash is very necessary to stop your opponent's maxx c or fuwa. Dragoon and drillbeam are always options going second so don't surrender right away
Extra Deck
  • Dragoon and Buster Blader: Needless to say the deck revolves around these two powerful cards that are most of the time instant scoop for your opponent when combined together. That's why, in reverse, a card like kashtira unicorn can instantly kill our whole strategy
  • Two Buster Dragon: Can be useful if you didn't manage to finish your opponent on turn 3, just recycle the lock (also need the two buster bladers for this)
  • Black Luster Soldier: Doesn't come up very often but if you summon him you want to use a level 7 or higher, the vanillas or lubellion can be used for it. When he comes up, mostly on turn 3, can be as hard or harder than Dragoon to deal with
  • Accesscode package: I was missing 3 cards in the ed. Dharc, selene and accesscode can help you seal the deal on turn 3
