Notes & Combos

since this is my last time playing competitive gaymodes; i decided to conclude my tryharding gaming carrear by playing my favorite pet deck. (also congratulations to the guy that beat me on time to upload a b.e.s. list)

this is the blind second variant, this deck does not perform well vs the best decks of the format... in particular odion,dracotail and the occasional lunalight, that being said i still did it with around 45% win rate (what a noob i am right)

the average duel will consist of you trying to otk your opponet if possible; if not you either try again turn 4, outgrind your opponet or make sure they surrender on turn 3. this deck is very simple to play but you cannot make any mistakes and many mistakes were made on my part

• the b.e.s. lineup

1 tetran back row removal and great synergy with boss rush

1 crystal core to ocassionally kill monsters

3 big core mk-3 light machine, free special summon, big guy, late game grind game

3 blaster cannon core free special in attack perfect to attack, big guy, great wall

3 derringer core this guy does everything, more pressure, more resourses, mvp of the deck

3 metal slaves best beater, detonator at home use your pops with wisely because are very espensive to resolve

3 of every spell to get protection and grind game

where are big core, big core mk-2 and covered core you may ask? uhm under maintenance

• the vic vipers

they help to otk, if you get both on the field you can get the L to 3600 atk and boost the ligth machines, if you fail the otk you can overlay into the @ingnister guy to get 2 free pops with the metal slave

• the cyber dragon package

the goal is to activate the cyber repair plant (and adding derringer) by sending the cyber dragon core to the grave with the clockworks knight, or even better with the chimeratechs, bonus points if you get the clockwork night in rotation

• the board breakers

classics go second cards, nothing special to be honest; sometimes the gordian slicer will backfire if you play for multiple turns, but it can be used to get back to your hand your cards. evenly matched is super good now if you can resolve it of course

• conclusion

all in all not reccomended in this current form, pure is to weak and the meta is super unfavorable to blind second strategy, but if you have all the cards i do encourage you to try the deck because if super fun
