I've always wanted to try this variant even if it is not considered the best. After playing Synchro SPYRAL for the past few seasons I found that I really missed link boards and so I wanted to try a variant that was more link focused. With Halq being banned I found the perfect chance :)

Endboard is typically: Simorgh, Apex, Apollousa, Gryphon, Firewall (if you don't fear superpoly or if Apex gets milled), Sleeper, and Harpie's Feather Storm searched off Curious/Gryphon for the lingering Skill Drain if your board is outed! Very degenerate, but I'm a combo player that likes to play floodgate payoffs in general because they put less pressure on your board.

You can also easily fit a buster lock in this build or play the infinite negate version of the Simorgh boards with Mist Valley Thunderbird, but running the brick that can easily be outed by a Kaiju/Golem makes it not worth playing for me as trap cards are more difficult for players to out. And if you hard draw into Feather Storm, you can always send droplet and fetch it back with Curious if you choose to, or forgo Curious altogether.
