Prerequisites

  • A registered Konami ID linked to your master duel game
  • Must login to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB using the same Konami ID
  • If the Yu-Gi-Oh! DB website asks to login with Game Card ID just click "I don't have a game card ID" and fill some basic information to proceed

Export Guide

- Via the MDM extension (Recommended): Download on Firefox, or Chromium Browsers
For Chromium browsers (Chrome/Edge/Opera/Brave...etc) just click "Add to chrome" on the store page and it'll work on most if not all chromium browsers.
After using the extension, go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

  1. Click here to copy the export code
    2.
  2. Go to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB and click My Deck => Add a Deck
  3. Once the deck page loads click Edit then do one of the following based on the platform your device is running:
    • (PC Only): Press F12 to open the browser console => Paste the export code there => Hit Enter
    • OR (Other platforms/PC): In the address bar of the current tab remove the URL and type "javascript:" without the quotations then paste the export code and hit Enter
  4. Save the deck
  5. Go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

Notes & Combos

This season the traptrix channel is having a mini competition to see who can get to master first. Our champion Ringo is already way ahead of me, but I thought I'd try to give them a run for their money.

This leg of the journey I tried something a little different again. I took inspiration from Jay In 4k and decided to go with 2 necrovalley, 3 macro, and 2 mirror force.

Early plat I tried soul drain, but there were long stretches where I didn't see a single bird or tear. In regular matchups, macro and necro are way stronger.

So, my games often turned into Sera/Lord beatdown.

Also, I was very unsure about mirror force, but it put in work! It was very good at protecting Sera, and with necrovalley or macro up, it was often gg.

I also tried maxx c and cherries, but in the end ash was queen, as she always is. Still not satisfied with my monster lineup. Will have to experiment with that some more.

Got a few replays for this stretch, but I don't think they'll last very long. 977-255-375

  1. Rank up match going second against tear. I opened shifter, but no monsters. You can see mirror force and lord and macro in action.
  2. Going second versus a stun deck. You get to see why a deck of mostly traps can sometimes struggle versus a deck with monsters that love traps.
  3. Going second versus an odd swordsoul yang zing deck that bricked. It was an interesting match for sure (and kinda grindy)
