Notes & Combos

This is my current Marincess Adventure deck. There are reasons to run this variant in Marincess when I was in Platinum rather than pure:

  • Too many Tear hate (D Fissure, Macro, D Shifter, Exos and Flunder) so having Adventure engine means being able to play against those floodgates/decks
  • Fateful protects your equiped monster once from battle so it means it can defend your Marincess link monsters like Argonaut from getting beaten over
  • You have access to a recyclable omni negate which the deck severly lack due to Toad ban and this means also being able to win against I:P Avramax

Although this will lock your Normal summon effects and Triangle effect, I feel the benefits it has is kinda appealing since Triangle search is risky anyway in Tear meta as Kelbek spin is huge, also the engine occupies 7 slots while you can still run Belle and Crow so it's kinda worth it still imo. As for Marincess ratios, this is simply the best I can both optimize and fit since having more names means better play under Brave restrictions. Sadly I couldn't fit Shadow Imprisoning coz it would make any Dark matchup (Tear included) easy. Running 2 Ocean imo is still better as in case they banish it, you can still do fine by searching another one, I wanted to fit 2 Waves but the single Maxx C stole the spot since I need the 1 of just for Crossout to have 6 outs to the roach. As for HTs, I think 3 Crow is mandatory and 2 Belle is fine, 3 Ash coz it can still stop Havnis play, 2 Imperm coz still a good staple. Marincess luckily has access to Dweller which is why this deck is worth to play in Tear 0 format, although the lack of Zeal makes it hard to break boards easily. Tips on how you play this deck: use Brave engine 1st, it's a good bait for negates or HTs, then do your Marincess plays. If you're under Macro, Shifter or D Fissure, if you open Brave engine, end on it, still 1 interruption, if you have only Marincess plays, if you open Pascalus and a 4 then end on Kragen.
