It's late enough in the season where I managed to climb through diamond within a day of submitting my D5 list. Maybe shouldn't have bothered submitting the D5 list, but shilling United We Stand is always fun.
The main "spice" this time is Donner, Dagger Fur Hire, if that can even be called spice. I think Donner qualifies as a main ingredient and expect to see her in others' lists soon. She makes committing to any of the link4+s much less risky because on a followup turn you can normal summon any low level monster to link off both for Donner who can tribute herself for to empty your board -> summon a fresh set of Numeron Gates.
I personally dropped Megaclops for her. Yes it's one of the few things you can do if they remove one of your Gates, but so many decks are maining Imperm/Underworld Goddess/in-archetype stuff/etc that it barely feels more relevant than a vanilla/empty board.
I'm much less confident in my second nonstandard choice of swapping out C1: Sunya for Saryuja. I wanted to try Saryuja for a while, as digging for the out/followup seems neat, and Sunya is the slot I use the least. That feels like more of a failing of mine than Sunya's though: doing the minimum amount to get Sunya to resolve as a board breaker and then fully committing turn 4 is a valid strategy when the opponent overcommits, and one I've been underutilizing. Topdecking has mentally scarred me or something.
In any case, I didn't lose enough to bother switching back. Going forward I probably will, but I'm submitting this list as-is. Saryuja performed fine and I do quite like being able to draw into Droplets to out itself. If I ever run a PSY-Frame-less build, it's my main contender for Omega's spot.
As for the maindeck I shifted more toward standard choices, as much a Small World build can be anyway. I didn't run into enough Exosister/Floowandereeze/trap decks to justify Red Reboot. And Magical Mallet ended up being too much of a neg in conjuction with Small World/Droplets/only 2 Calling. Obvious perhaps, but gamba-ing for the out is addictive. So I dropped all 4 for the fourth, actual copy of Feather Duster and an Imperm playset.
One of the Imperms is actually Veiler since I've been meaning to up my monster count a bit to help guarantee Small World (and Droplets to a lesser extent) is online. And now also as an option for Donner. I'd like to shift even further toward Veiler but Dimension Shifter makes that a riskier proposition than I'd like.
I swapped the Volcanic Queens back to Kaijus. Queen's lack of one-per-side is nice, as is being able to be destroyed by the second Gate when summoned in defense position. However I finally ran into a game where I needed to Small World up to Lava Golem but couldn't since I'd already used my singular Ash Blossom bridge. Swapping back to Kaijus let me drop Ash for a fourth Kaiju which currently has felt better value, and running a 2-2 split has made bridging any of them up to lava Golem more reliable. I'm still on the fence about which approach is better though.
United We Stand for the third Droplets was simply the better, less 4fun choice. I still stand by UWS being comparable or better than Limiter Removal though. Vic Viper alone ended up sufficing for my attack boosting needs, although I'm pretty sure I ended up drawing Small World versus empty boards better than average. No complaints here.
The card I'm least confident in currently is Triple Tactics Talent. If Tear is resolving a monster effect during MP1 there's a decent chance my strategy has already fallen apart. Still, sometimes it's just an overeager Spright Elf/Redoer/late Dweller play, and one time I was able to bait Rulkallos revive with Lightning Storm->steal with TTT->make Donner with Vic Viper->resolve Numeron Network in peace. So I'm sticking with TTT for now. If I were to drop it, it'd probably be for more backrow hate like Cosmic Cyclone or maybe back to Reboot.
