Notes & Combos

Last time around, I aruged that ABC was not worth playing without Union Carrier. I completely forgot about the Ancient Fairy Dragon errata. For ABC, this is a very big deal. This Auroradon AFD ABC list is the most consistent iteration of ABC combo that has existed on Master Duel to date. Compared to other ABC builds, it is rather complex.

Ancient Fairy Dragon, in an ABC deck like this one, has multiple uses. If you've hard drawn Hangar, it's access to Therion "King" Regulus. If you've only drawn engine pieces - that is, say, a Dragon Ravine and any non tuner monster below level 7, it gives full Auroradon combo (Dragon Ravine + Maxx "C" is full combo, for example).

ABC excels at making Auroradon, and Auroradon isn't this ABC deck's only option. Please note that there are multiple Auroradon ABC builds. There is a variation of this build that lands on Baronne, Borreload Savage, and Thunder Dragon Colossus, but it features less interaction and lock out (surprisingly) than this iteration.

Your typical end board, which may or may not include a Therion "King" Regulus depending on how you've drawn, will consist of Herald of Arc Light, ABC, and F.A. Dawn Dragster. Sounds weak, right?

Except that Fairy Tail Snow gets chucked into your GY by Shooting Riser Dragon, giving you an interaction that ends the game for many decks even after opponent has drawn the out (like DRNM). A bonus: Herald of Arc Light counters Forbidden Droplet completely, because Droplet specifies "sending to the GY", and since no monsters can be sent to the GY for its activation (Herald banishes all monsters that would be sent to the GY), it is negatable by Dawn Dragster, or Arc-Light itself.

I will upload a replay (in the comments, at worst). Master Duel was down at the time of submitting this deck.

The only thing that changes with the iteration of the deck that you've clicked from on MDM is what you're summoning with this combo. They play exactly the same, and use the same main deck core, except that instead of Snow you run Corridor and instead of Herald of Arc Light, you run Cupid Pitch.
