Notes & Combos

Long ago, a certain tree continue to grows in quite the toxic enviorment. Remaining strong and sturdy the tree protects it's owner from the waves of tearlaments and the destruction of anti-graveyard cards like dimension shifter and dimensional fissure. This is the story on how Sunavalon made it to diamond 1.

What a time to continue my Yugioh Vrains journey because right now rougue decks are suffering hard and that includes my poor trees. So how did I make it to diamond 1? LUCK. Not to discredit this deck because this deck can cook but being able to get disrupted on the very 1st turn shows that luck is required. I have derank multiple times from diamond 2 but also went on some massive winstreaks(13 being the highest). I won't explain the combos because they are very long and the sunavalon discord channel is very active and have great replays/ explanations in the pins. Also coldbose recently posted the rikka sunavalon guide so go show that article some love cause the in depth explanation really needs to be appreciated.

What I will explain is how I improve my odds and got to diamond 1:

• 40 card deck can give you better odds but the extra cards included help to have other engines included. If the combo fails you can go into rikka/therion
• Naturia rosewhip and cactus bouncer are essential. It's rare to have both on the field at the same time but having one on the field increases your odds tremendously. Cactus bouncer stops either player from special summoning and rosewhip can make your use 1 spell/trap which can be negated by regulus.
• Neko mane king is to help against tearlaments as it ends their turn immediately. A big problem with this deck is dealing with backrow so having the turn end without them setting their traps is great.
• Take the maxx c challenge. You will probably lose if you respect the maxx c so go big or go home. You can even deck them out if possible.

And with that you are now able to fight in the meta. To save some sr cp neko can be obtain from the legacy pack and unexpected dai,rikka princess and rikka konkon can be obtain from the solo mode. Overall, I'm glad sunavalon was able to get to diamond 1 cause they were plenty of times I thought it wouldn't. However the many combos that can be implemented shows that it can be done.
