Notes & Combos

Deck hard-loses to Ash but most people don't play against it enough to interrupt Rising Carp. See diagram (tinyurl.com/zeamincombo) for the standard Ze Amin line, the choke points, and cards in hand needed to keep going.

This deck benefits from Tear players cutting Ash and being resilient to D.D. Crow. Rather than minimize engine cards and play a pile deck, I choose to play hand trap style and run with 2x Sharakusai, 3x Extreme Session, and 3x Deer Note.

See the combo chart for why it's good to save E Tele until after getting interrupted and to have 2nd copy of Sharakusai. Not trying to bait with E Tele is also why I played TTT over Gamma.

Hard-draw Extreme Session and Deer Note help extend past a lot of the choke points. With a 3-engine hand, I would go for: Extreme Session, Trap, Dragon Drive, Sharakusai, and Draco Beserker. Either summon both Deer Notes before Dragon Drive or save the revive effect on Sharakusai after summoning the 2nd Deer Note.

Worst cards in ED were Zeus (didn't make the final cut), Baronne (can't summon without TTT steal), and Dingirsu. Goddess would've come up in random game against Rhongo + Sales Ban. Linking 2nd Deer Note -> Earth Charmer -> Unicorn breaks Bagooska stalling PEP. 2nd Rising Carp is to come back with 1-card top decks if the 1st one is interrupted.
