Notes & Combos
I've updated the decklist from the one that got me to D5. Beefed up on a few more runicks cards for draw power and support (and it was noticeable). Thought about getting rid of Bystials to aim for 40 cards, but the big SS bodies and GY control are nice.
The key features from this updated version are gryphon lock and using mannequin cat to SS scythe lock. Mannequin cat is a go to setup when I get maxx C, especially good for tear and branded. (The only thing I am still testing in main deck is whether to keep 2 drnm, replace them with TTT, or omit and do 3rd evenly).
For ED, Gryphon lock is sweet. Avramax was a great add, an awesome protector that is necessary for the grind game of the runick variant. Onibimaru and Donner are easy-to-make going second options. Donner has an extra perk of popping itself to clear the field to go into live twins. (Other situational options include unicorn and abomination. Unicorn to spin mirrorjade or sent to the gy effects monsters; abomination for backrow and floodgate pop).
