Notes & Combos

Here's my early build of VV that's taken me M5->M3 last couple days while learning the deck.

Nadir is incredibly strong in this deck as we can go up on cards and not suffer from the ED restriction really. A lot of people pointed out how popular the deck is rn and Nadir hurts you in the mirror, but the ceiling needs to be raised for other matchups so I'm on it now.

Odd-Eyes is in despite no Tenpai yet because the negate feels good (top decks all have key spells) and its a really low cost inclusion. Sauravis is polarized but Odd-Eyes will always get value.

Extra deck is a mess that I never summoned from except the occasional Dyna Mondo play. Nadir package + Dyna Mondo + Anima + Goddess will stay for now but not quite sure what to do with it.

The basic gameplay loop of the deck is reasonably strong and consistent, but definitely less powerful than top decks. Right now though, MD ladder is a nightmarish hellscape of 3+ HT hands and having an obscene amount of searches + reasonable "extension" is a solid recipe for this meta. Yubel is unwinnable if they can play.

No replays yet but I'll add some as I stop making bad misplats.
