Notes & Combos

After 20 years, "Swordsoul support" finally arrived.Too bad said support is better in every other slop deck other than Swordsoul specifically lol. With that being said, it was finally time for me to return to the good old days of being able to play this deck competitively. The grind was more pleasent than I expected, I did encounter my fair share of unwinnable games but in those cases, all you can do is try your best. My win rate was about 70%

Ratios

Why only 2 Long Yuan this time around? Because the goal of this deck has shifted away from making synchro 10s. Realistically speaking, you could even consider not running it because of the LV8 restriction. There are times where I'm forced to start with Fallen of the White Dragon then randomly draw into it mid combo and it's now stuck in my hand until next turn. 2 seems like a decent ratio.

Tech choices

Originally this list had Destrudo and Yazi, but I cut those because they were slightly bit clunky if I'm not careful, I miss them a lot even as I'm writing this, but I don't want the deck to be too bloated. If you like those 2 a lot, definitely include them (Yazi won me plenty of games even before I cut it)

The inclusion of Bystials were to mainly counter the Branded meta as well as The Fallen & The Virtuous targets, they've been pretty effective. They also help facilitate Synchro 10s too.

The playset of Evenly Matched was just there for Enneacraft specifically, I hate that deck with a burning passion and it was basically an auto win every time I encountered them. Otherwise, its effectiveness ranges from mid to slightly above average, probably not worth it if the popularity of Enneacraft Stun drops.

Swordsoul Punishment, I'm conflicted with this one, on one hand, the utility of this card is great but a lot of the times, I don't really need it, there were some games that it helped out a lot but I've been debating on whether it's actually worth keeping or not. Too bad it was shafted from the get go, it would be great if it was a quick-play but I digress.

The original goal of Crossout Designator was to counter F&V as well but I did not have a game happen for my entire DLVMAX run. It's honestly safe to cut but it did save me from maxx C a few times.

Most of the non engine and extra deck were built around Branded in High Spirits. The flex spot of the extra deck is only Chaos Angel and Luluwalilith. The former won me more games than the latter.
