Notes & Combos
Regenesis as an archetype is amazing. It just needs one small thing...
which is to survive one turn.
Luckily, the new branded/dogmatika cards give you plenty of ways to bring the game beyond the first turns, while also giving you ways to access 2500 monsters in hand, field AND gy. Nadir, White Dragon and Punishment fill the gy particularly quickly even when going 2nd (thanks to Thunderbolt), allowing Overlord to steal games by returning a LOT of cards back to the hand at once.
Setting up an early Regenesis Sage also allows the branded engine to fully thrive without tapping into the extra deck locks and Regenesis Dogmatika is relatively unknown, further making one's plays even more confusing to the opponent (which branded cards also do). Going 2nd into Kewl Tune no longer has a guaranteed result.
Because of the abundance of branded and decks using F&V, bystials are performing amazingly again and their 2500ATK pair well with Regenesis.
Both the main deck and extra deck can be tailored to be able to do more combos, but I chose to keep things simple to avoid playing too much into C and Fuwa and to not be punished by going early into ED locks. White dragon can alternate nicely between "main deck" and "extra deck" mode.
Lastly... this list does so much stuff going 2nd. Your opponent will often timeout when trying to figure out what exactly you're attempting to do, and drawing Lava G feels AMAZING with Warrior, Nadir or Thunderbolt around to keep returning it to your hand.
This support was frankly impressive. When Harmonia comes, it will become all the more annoying to deal with (2500 handtrap with ED-sending synergy???).
