Prerequisites

  • A registered Konami ID linked to your master duel game
  • Must login to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB using the same Konami ID
  • If the Yu-Gi-Oh! DB website asks to login with Game Card ID just click "I don't have a game card ID" and fill some basic information to proceed

Export Guide

- Via the MDM extension (Recommended): Download on Firefox, or Chromium Browsers
For Chromium browsers (Chrome/Edge/Opera/Brave...etc) just click "Add to chrome" on the store page and it'll work on most if not all chromium browsers.
After using the extension, go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

  1. Click here to copy the export code
    2.
  2. Go to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB and click My Deck => Add a Deck
  3. Once the deck page loads click Edit then do one of the following based on the platform your device is running:
    • (PC Only): Press F12 to open the DevTools window => Navigate to the Console tab in the window => Paste the export code => Hit Enter
    • OR (Other platforms/PC): In the address bar of the current tab remove the URL and type "javascript:" without the quotations then paste the export code, then if you're on mobile look for the *globe* icon and tap on it to run the code (Chrome only), for PC users just hit enter.
  4. The deck will save automatically
  5. Go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

Notes & Combos

So I decided to bring my favourite deck back for this years WCS.

And my god was it ever painful.

The deck is still pretty good to be honest, being able to break boards with a 6 mat Zeus works pretty well still. But **** there are some decks in the format that are just painful to play against (mostly Mermail tbh).

The deck plays very simple so I dont think alot of explaining is necessary.

  • Unicorn makes Ariseheart,
  • Thrust sets DDG or grabs a Boardbreaker/ Avarice,
  • And any Zoodiac on board with RamRam in GY makes UDF (Usually achieved with Ratpier or Thoroughblade).
  • Make sure you summon Unicorn first, then do the Zoodiac combo, then finish the Kashtira combo, if you have both in Hand.
  • Going 2nd any Zoodiac Normal Summon immediately threatens a 6-Mat Zeus before even activating a single effect, which can then activate 3 times in the same chain to threaten the entire board

With this deck its really less about the Combos and more how you build the deck. This version honestly worked fine, but could probably be refined.

  • D.D. Crow was put in the deck because it is reeeeeally good currently. It is good against Fiendsmith, Blue-Eyes, Mermail, Tenpai, Snake-Eye, Memento, or basically any deck in the format. I REALLY recommend running it in this deck, probably even at 3.
  • Fuwalos felt really mid. Probably the first card to go
  • DDG is amazing aswell. Just a one turn floodgate, which is usually enough to get people to ragequit. Its probably the best Normal Trap option right now.
  • Kashtira Big Bang is an extra brick, but makes Unicorn go for Ariseheart, Fenrir and Unicorn. Ariseheart is currently good enough which is why im not running Big Bang.
  • And finally Thrust targets TTT, Duster and Avarice. Duster is super necessary with all the stun around, TTT is just generally good and Avarice helps immensly in the Grind game.

I also used other decks for the climb but with this I played the most, ultimately going 13-6 (68,4% WR) on the longest streak, and 5-2 (71,4% WR) to get to DLV Max.

All in all this deck is still really playable, especially going 2nd my WR was still 66,6% which is pretty solid.
