Notes & Combos

Works pretty well in MD right now.

• If you wonder about the 2ofs: Either they are at 2 or I want to minimize bricking on double nib or drawing Mulcharmies after turn 1 etc.
• Main combo is White Aura ending on Bubble Reaf (draw 1 banish Psiccs), Dragite, Virtue Stream (+ usually Virtue Dragon as fodder), Psiics and Keaf in rotation.
• But there are many two card combos, for example mermaid shark and abyss shark using Leaffish and Harpooner.
• I like the field spell (I wish it would be a starter on activation, but having it post turn 3 is sooo nice). But again if I see 2 in my opening hand I will cry. There a decent combos with White Sardine, Mermaid Shark, Leaffish. Mainly a grid / comeback card if your GY is loaded.
• With 2 sarc and 2 field spell you get the essential ghotis (the 4 that are not keaf) easy enough into rotation that you never need more then one arianpos even if it gets negated.
• Yeah no Paces, Shif is just better and you really dont want to brick on all the 1ofs. Speaking of I feel that all included fishes are needed for some common situations. I guess it would be optimal to learn all the spreadsheet style combos with all the possible combinations of 1of cards etc. But you can just freestyle
• Impuls is super good agains so many things so its a easy 3 of for me. Just keep an eye out for sequencing since you get locked out of nib and fuwa. Only from hand though!
• Mermaid Shark is (unfortuntly) still better IMO than Big Jaws. Like yeah sometimes you can special the guy (but that rarly happnes since we dont un that many spells) but then you get XYZ locked, so you can not setup your ghoti plays. Also if you want to use that card properly you kinda need to play Fish poplar, but that card is about as good as White Sunfish (only works in a very limited amount of settings and is a vanilla else).
• 2 Askaan is also important. He is an interuption going first but also cleans boards going second. At least he has some redundancy (but only until Toxic Boxfish comes to MD then I will change 1 of them out for it).
