Notes & Combos

A note of advice, I'm currently learning to play Exosisters (I finished the Deck yesterday) so I'm most prone to make mistakes on intercations.

• Terminology: SS (Special Summon)

Exosister deck with Zoroa engine; not much to say here. Your main objective is simple going turn 1:

• End board: Magnifica + Vadis and Returnia
• If Maxx "C" is on play: Mikailis + Returnia (if you have Vadis you can set it too)

Shifter and Fissure are mostly for any deck that relies on GY (which tend to be most of them). Tears don't have much of a choice if you time your cards correctly; sometimes you just want to wait until the mill start to happen which is very powerful as this disrupt them ver strongly.

• Ex Going Turn 2: Mudora effect to discard Kelbek/Agido for SS on field (either wait for them to trigger the effect or just shifter right away)

Magistus package is also very strong in this deck; if you have Zoroa in hand + any Exosister monster in hand you get to make 2 Xyz even with the worst possible hand.

Ex: Starting hand -> Zoroa, Sophia, Evenly, Returnia, Triple Tactics

• Summon Zoroa on field
• Trigger Zoroa effect to equip Artemis
• Zoroa's second effect to SS Sophia
• Xyz summon Kaspitell
• Kaspitell effect to search for Martha
• Martha effect to SS itself and Elis from Deck
• Xyz summon Makailis
• Mikailis effect to search for Vadis
• Xyz summon Magnifica
• Set Traps
• End turn.

On the current format where Tear 0 is the mainstream of decks (Tearlaments if it wasn't that clear), D.D Crow and Ghost Belle are very powerful tech options for the already promissing banishes already present on Exosisters.

Finally, as for board breakers and interactions in the opponent's turn; we have:

• Evenly Matched (one of the best board breakers as it banishes excess cards on your opponent's field face down);
• Carpedivem (acts as a Probibition if you Xyz summon, and during battle phase if an Exosister monster battles it allows you to destroy 1 spell/trap on your opponent's side of the field)
• Armaments (free Xyz summon of a Exosister you won't need on the field at the moment)
