Prerequisites

  • A registered Konami ID linked to your master duel game
  • Must login to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB using the same Konami ID
  • If the Yu-Gi-Oh! DB website asks to login with Game Card ID just click "I don't have a game card ID" and fill some basic information to proceed

Export Guide

- Via the MDM extension (Recommended): Download on Firefox, or Chromium Browsers
For Chromium browsers (Chrome/Edge/Opera/Brave...etc) just click "Add to chrome" on the store page and it'll work on most if not all chromium browsers.
After using the extension, go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

  1. Click here to copy the export code
    2.
  2. Go to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB and click My Deck => Add a Deck
  3. Once the deck page loads click Edit then do one of the following based on the platform your device is running:
    • (PC Only): Press F12 to open the DevTools window => Navigate to the Console tab in the window => Paste the export code => Hit Enter
    • OR (Other platforms/PC): In the address bar of the current tab remove the URL and type "javascript:" without the quotations then paste the export code, then if you're on mobile look for the *globe* icon and tap on it to run the code (Chrome only), for PC users just hit enter.
  4. The deck will save automatically
  5. Go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

Notes & Combos

Honestly, I don't have much to add on the deck. Rated duels was a bit more of the same as master rank duels with a bit of more drawn out games since everyone who is in the tier is there for a very good reason.

What I can add though is that despite hating the choice of using majesty's fiend in the deck, it unironically adds a new ceiling for the deck that I didn't even know was possible until I played more games with it.

Majesty's fiend can be played as a point of distraction while also a barrier of security to reestablish control in a game after using your materials to out the enemy board.

During one of my games in rated duels against VSK9 going first, I drew into a horrible hand with tip, shiina, 2 visions, and MST. I used tip to bait out hand traps and immediately got drolled, but chained vision and used MST to recycle the spell and proceeded to draw into flashing fire and mandate which is medicore.

By the end of my opponent's turn, he ended with Caesar Valius, Retaliating C, Rock of the vanquished, along with two other unknowns in the hand against my geri, mst, mandate, and useless shiina in hand. Before end phase I chained MST and mandate to neutralize Retaliating C and on my turn I drew into Majesty's fiend.

By tributing my Geri for the card, I was effectively able to provide myself with the security necessary to draw into extension, reestablish control of a losing game, and go into engine against two interruptions, a floodgate, and two unknowns from the hand. It may not be part of main engine but it can provide the boost that you need to reestablish control in a losing game if needed.

In the end I finished with a winstreak of 7 in rated duels and I could climb higher if I wanted to, but I have errands to run so I'm content with my current placement in rated duels. I still cannot express how happy I am that I got to rated duels for the first time with an archetype that I love. I hope other duelists can try it for themselves and even make their own improvements for the deck.
