Notes & Combos

Quick Tip: When piloting this deck, always prioritize summoning your Six Samurai Synchro monsters through Anarchist Monk whenever possible. In today’s meta, this setup counters many strategies, especially Xyz-focused decks like Ryzeal, because of this effect "The Levels of all monsters your opponent controls are reduced by 1" giving you a strong chance to secure the win when going first.

This version of Six Samurai doesn’t rely on flashy, hard-to-pull-off combos. Instead, it’s built around consistency, control, and adaptability:

Strong end boards when going first.

Explosive OTK potential when going second.

Legendary Six Samurai – Enishi shines as your primary board breaker, while Double Assault functions as both a free Book of Moon and an extender (thanks to Six Sams’ inherent summoning requirement).

Key Plays & Tips:

Legendary Six Samurai – Shi En is your go-to first summon to guard against Nibiru. If you have extra resources (e.g., with Tactical Trainer), search Battle Shogun Shien to shut down spell/trap-reliant decks like Maliss.

Stay adaptive: You can search cunning of the six samurai via anarchist monk to reset any six samurai effects by sending it to graveyard and summoning the same to recycle and reset abilities (e.g., if you already used Legendary Six samurai- Shi en's ability to negate, you can use the quick play spell cunning to reset its effect).

When going first, aim for Naturia Beast + Shi En as your opening board especially when you are under Maxx "C". Based on my experience, unli spell negates and a monster negate + destroy is most of the time enough to win or to have another turn. It is best to have Original Shien for trap negates, or set up Double Assault Book of Moon utility + extra body on the field.
