Notes & Combos

Shoutout to Pan the Kat for putting me onto Fairy Tail the last couple months - here's take two of FTFS. Rockin' it til the new patron + charmer pack tightens a noose further around the ED (tick, tock...)

Obvious edits from the norm are the minimal Fiendsmith slopping, now further optimized to maximize seeing it and breaking them boards; nonengine is a total tossup insofar as preference goes, but after getting got by Gamma a couple times myself, I tragically came to the conclusion that two veilers just don't do as much as one gamma will - the latter actually has won me a few games both going second and in blocking an early droll, and both we and opponents are consistent enough where having one driver vs. a veiler has never once came up as the reason this list lost a game.

The idea here is that any start with two bodies - ideally prince, but just as validly any special + a fuwa - lets you pivot straight into the fiendsmith line; the main goal is to force out harmonias early + give you a FAR better endboard under droll, but there's tons of synergy elsewhere too. This list gives you start of game access to little knight for backrow clearing, gets you an emergency draw off necroquip with spenta in heavy-disruption worst-cases, and gives you an entire third axis to push through boards with to boot; all of it also makes good bait into handtraps, which can often unbrick your lacrima of lights, and while Caesar on his own is easily outable in this meta, he's ALSO often a real mother when paired with Teller's omni - and with most hands, you can aim for both even under droll, where otherwise the board ends up super cope.

TL;DR I legitimately like this list, and even went as far as to make a whole MLG gamer lo-fi hip-hop replay compilation for it. Shame there's no time to further explore it.

Replays

Many replays: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kM92I04Uon8. Put some effort into this one. A couple of 'em utilize an alt list with RT visions and a higher count of quickplay breakers, but the new banlist put a pin in that and goal's the same either way.
