Notes & Combos

This definetly is not the best way to play Kashtira or Buster Blader but it's definetly versitile and difficult to deal with together. The concept of this deck is that it features 2 engines that are very strong on their own and search through the main deck quickly to get to your handtraps. You would have to have knowledge of each engine individually as you will end up winning games using just one of the engines and never seeing any cards from other engine. I will explain each engine seperately and then explain a combo using both engines together.

The Kashtira engine is basically a toolbox, big beaters that put a lot of pressure before you even get into the swiss army knife of the extra deck. A very simple combo that you can do is special summon Unicorn, search the Kashtiratheosis, special summon Fenrir and search for Rise-Heart or Scareclaw using fenrir. You can now decide to either make a Shangri-Ira with a Unicorn and Fenrir on their standby phase or you can just hard make the Ariseheart. With only Unicorn you can now make Shangri-Ira which will special summon every standby phase or an Arise heart. With a starting hand of Unicorn you end on Unicorn, Fenrir, Shangri-Ira, and 4 potential handtraps.

The main starter for your Buster Blader engine is Buster Whelp. Whelp can search for the Prologue and then you link into a linkuriboh to have a dragon in grave. Then use Prologue during the opponents turn to send Destruction Sword Memories and Buster Blader the Destruction Swordsman. You can then chain Destruction Sword Memories from the graveyard during the same chain it was sent there due to prologue's effect being a cost. This will now summon out the Dragon Destroyer fusion to complete the "buster lock". Depending on when you activate this during your opponents turn, this can be a near impossible board to break with using just one card.

Now I will explain a combo using both engines, you will need a starting hand of Unicorn, Whelp, and Rise-Heart. You first special summon Unicorn and search for the Birth, the normal summon Buster Whelp and serach for the prologue, you then link summon Protector Whelp using Unicorn and Whelp to send a destruction sword card, either memories or Whelp to special summon the Buster Blader from the hand, you now use Birth to special Unicorn from grave and then use Rise-Heart's effect to special summon itself from hand. Using Buster Blader and rise-heart, you XYZ summon Shangri-Ira. On your opponents stanby phase you will end on Protector Whelp, a set prolouge, Birth, Unicorn, Fenrir, Shangri-Ira, and 2 potential hand traps.
