Notes & Combos

This time I climbed from D5 to M5 with Agents venus version. I tuned the deck and made it clean as much as I could.

In general, venus agents starts with 2 card combo which 2 of them should be either Earth, Neptune, Sacred Waters or Venus.

Main objective is to resolve looping your b0lls and making plays out of it. If it does resolve, you pretty much win the game.

However, modern YGO comes with interruptions while your opponent also have their one-card combo rolling on. So I’m making this build low ceiling to get something out while still being competitive.

Combo Lines: With L2 Spright Sprind, Venus is a 1 card combo. Ns Venus, ss 3 b0lls, make spright elf and sprind. Sprind sends diviner, and elf reborns diviner. Proceed from there.

Diviner alone can be challenging, but still doable to end with Kristya. Diviner send Trias, Trias tribute diviner, diviner ss Buten, Buten and Trias makes Masterflare. Masterflare copy venus which ss 3 b0lls. Turn 1 ball into tuner using Buten’s effect. Make Cupid Pitch, and make chaos ruler in main zone. Pitch will get neptune.

With Neptune, if you can banish him and make L3 Parshath, you can bring out Kristya.

While resolving your main combo wins you most of the time, most of my matchups wins are coming from the low ceiling plays and dynamically able to respond the best out. Sometimes I had to plays like venusless and thats still good enough.

I will cover a video for this Venus build in the near future. I will push again once the new pack drops to keep meta relevant, but still not sure to use which build. I do think this list can improve, like the ratios and cards to answer the meta.

This is not the sole way to play Agents venus so feel free also to elaborate yours. Have fun!
