Notes & Combos

This is my first iteration of my Radiant Typhoon Runick deck that I used to skyrocket to master 5 for the first time. I'm very proud of this deck for it's consistecy and power through fighting some of the biggest threats in the meta currently.

Combos are just about what you would expect them to be if you have played runick or RT in the past. Going over some of the deck choices, gravity controller is there if the player needs a form of extension into links before they get locked into wind monsters for the rest of the turn, speedroid fuuki is there to excavate draw into extension and get up an early baronne to survive going second or get it up early going first if you need an answer to handtraps, and Shiina is at two to draw the answer more consistently to an opponent's card threats while maintaining consistency with drawing RT or runick cards from the top of the deck.

While climbing I was consistently getting winstreaks of 7 to 13, and some of the wildest replays as a result but the main reason why I was able to climb so high was because I never gave up despite the insurmountable odds.

If you get drolled, then you play through it. If you get dimension shifted then you can just play through it. If you lose your fountain field spell or mandate continuous trap then you can just play through it.

The deck has sufficient answers to threats like this to continue playing and pulling off some the most satisfying upset victories possible, even when going second.
